More Information;
I am on Windows seven, so...
I switched to another WINDOWS user which has Thunderbird installed,
and only one TB-email account...
(Same main TB-user on both Windows accounts,
and all went well. It is done.
What was different?
When I clicked the "Done" button In "TB install", here is what's
missing: (the defect on 2nd gmail account) on completed first Windows user.
===========================================================
GMAIL popped a window asking for permission:
Quote:
Mozilla Thunderbird Email wants to access
your Google account
(the new email address here)
This will allow Mozilla Thunderbird Email to:
Read, compose, send, and permanently delete all you email from Gmail
=============================================================
THAT POPUP is what's NOT HAPPENING <===
Could that be because the First gmail was already ALLOWED, many months
ago, so now this second gmail user (a defect?)doesn't need it in
gmail... but should?
Conclusion:
Thunderbird is not granting Gmail... permission to make changes in TB
because the "Allow" never happened from TB to Gmail due to missing pop-up.
It works okay in the other Windows-user on same PC because no gmail has
been added yet.
