Is there a relatively simple way of creating a format in thunderbird for
sending Holiday cards.

Thanks for any info.

Depends on what you mean by 'relatively' simple I guess

The best place to get answers on this type of question is

snews://secnews.netscape.com/netscape.test.multimedia

the denizens of that group will walk you through all the ins and outs
and the various means of accomplishing what you want

you will have to subscribe to snews for this one.

Mozilla news does have a similar newsgroup but it's use is restricted to
'test' posts, not instructional ones, so it's better to go to secnews.

Have to set SSL port 563 for the account and use the Config Edit and filter
on 40_MD5 then toggle the values to true.

I create a Web page for our letter. Then I send an ASCII-formatted
E-mail to friends and relatives with a link to the page.

This allows me to include photos with the letter and to have links to
other Web pages cited in the letter.
