Hi all,

Wondering what the reply to list feature is for?

I thought it was to reply to messages when you are subscribed to a list like this?

I notice it is unavailable when a message from a list is selected.

I can only assume that you are using a browser and Mozilla Forums rather than using Thunderbird and Newsgroup such as:  <mozilla.support.thunderbird>

This being the case, reply to list means posting to the forum and anybody who has subscribed to the list gets a copy in the email inbox.  I am not subscribed to any Mozilla Lists so I am just guessing here.

Most of the users here are using Thunderbird and NNTP is configured accordingly.

I am using latest version of tb and have subscribed to this list by email since newsgroups in tb don't work well with a screen reader.

OK I get it.  I don't use the List and I don't use the screen Reader so I suggest wait until somebody else visits here and replies.  There are always people here who are willing to contribute in any way they can.

Best of luck.

Hi,

Reply (Ctrl-R) - Send the reply to the sender. In this case it's you
(lists@dam...)
Reply-All (Ctrl-Shift-R) - Send the reply to all recipients and the
sender (you and the list). That's what I have done here now
Reply-List (Ctrl-Shift-L) - Send the reply to the list only - if there
is any. TB detects the Mailinglist by using the mail headers.

Hope this answers your question.

Sebastian
