Hi all,

I hope someone can assist as this issue is driving me crazy.

When I receive an attachment and attempt to view it Thunderbird crashes.

The error displayed is:

Try Saving it to the Desktop, then Opening it from there. Caution: the
attachment may be infected.

What kind of attachment?

jpg's open just fine here. Flash videos play when I open the message in
a new tab or window.

Images and Flash are about the only files I know Thunderbird will handle.

Everything else needs to be saved, or opened in an external application.
