Does anyone else see this behaviour...

I'm using TB 3.0.1 for Linux (SUSE 11.0 build). I have 3 dictionaries -
EN-US, EN-GB, FR

I compose a mail in plain-text with 'spell as you type' enabled. In
the subject line I can change the dictionary for spell checking. It
behaves like Firefox: I can right-click and select language and it
retrospectively rechecks the subject line - e.g. if the subject is
"colour color couleur" it changes the two that are underlined in red.

This doesn't happen in the main message window. Spelling options are
absent from the context menu.

Moreover changing the language in the subject line does change the
spellcheck language in the message window - but not retrospectively.
Incorrectly underlined words remain, but the same words retyped will not
be.

Changing the language in prefs/options doesn't seem to
retrospectively recheck either the subject or the message.

And finally, changing the language via the contect menu doesn't change
the one that's selected in the prefs/options - and vice versa.

All this happens in safe-mode (though only the two EN dictionaries are
available then).

Before raising a bug I'd like to know if thiis is a fault in the SUSE
build - to save me the trouble of downloading and configuring a standard
version.

So does anyone else see this in Linux - or generally?

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9.1.7) Gecko/20100111
SUSE/3.0.1-9.1 Thunderbird/3.0.1
