General Mapi failure

When using Faststone Image Viewer to email a group of images all appears to
go well until the last minute then I get an error box with General Mapi
Failure.
Thunderbird is my default, both in the program itself and Internet Options.
What more can I do?

Jim, I had the same problem with emailing with Faststone. Yesterday I
found my Brother - in - laws machine had the same problem. I had
Thunderbird 2.0.0.22 (the latest I think). I just loaded Thunderbird
2.0.0.21 and everything started working again. I turned off the
Thunderbird auto update so I don't get the new version.
