Hi, I found out that the Windows Search (Win 7) has created many thousands of files in my Thunderbird profile folder.
I was able to delete them from my C: drive in the Thunderbird profile, but it turns out that they were also copied via
my backup program to an external drive. When I try to delete them from the mirror drive, it says the file name is too
long to delete, to rename, to open or even to move to a place where the file name path would be shorter than it is in
the backup folders.
I have turned off that Search feature in TB 14 now that I know what it did!
Does anyone know how to delete such files that Windows created but now can't seem to do anything with? This may be
slightly off-topic on this list, but since TB created them, it seems the best place to start.
Thanks in advance :)

I finally found a program that would identify and delete all of those files and folders on my external mirror drive -
FileBoss version 2.5. Info here http://www.theutilityfactory.com/
