Quoted printable utf-8

My web service sends email as quoted printable in utf-8

Thunderbird (latest) seems not to manage that, it shows carbage.

A snippet from the message source:

The message shows carbage where 8bit characters should be.

I used to do it in ISO-8859-15 earlier, and it worked fine.

Is there an error in my encoding (it's encoded by JavaMail). It visited
http://www.webatic.com/run/convert/qp.php and tried to encode and decode
the data as above, and it converts them fine.

Is there an error in TB or some mistake of my own?

The encoding looks correct here.
I also tested Thunderbird at decoding the snippet. Thunderbird decoded
it correctly. In Thunderbird I saw this with no garbage characters
