Because Debian has an extremely puritan attitude towards packages in
its distributions, there can be NO copyrighted material of any sort in
them, not even logos and graphics.
FYI, Icedove (which I use) is a thinly disguised version of the long
term support version of Thunderbird. The current version in the Debian
7.0 ('Wheezy') repositories is 10.0.12.
