You can do it for free if you set your location(s) to somewhere in Asia. No
idea why it works, but it does.

Tweaked around with my TB yahoo account settings (again, from one of the
messages [chubby22] in the referenced thread) . This worked:

Server Name: plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com
Port: 995
Security: SSL
SMTP: smtp.mail.yahoo.com

I have two yahoo accounts. I use the appropriate webmail extension. One
account works, the second one didn't but does now.

Gmail is better, but I have to use yahoo to moderate a usenet group because I
don't know any other way to do it :-(
