Attached vcf shows paper clip on email - Addon to disable that?

There are a few people in my organization that attach a vcf file to
every email they send. The only problem with that is that every single
email I have in my inbox from them shows a paper clip on it - because
of the vcf. It would be nice to have a way to turn off that paper clip
in the case that the vcf file is the only attachment on the email.
Then, when I go to look for that email that had the doc attached, it
will jump out at me as one of the few emails with attachments.

Every attachment shows a paper clip. Every vcf is an attachment. Ergo, every
vcf shows a paper clip.
One way to to that (if possible) would be an extension (see
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/browse/type:1 ) to strip away all
vcf's from any mail you get as it reaches your Inbox. I'm not sure whether
such an extension exists, nor whether you would really want to do that.
