Thunderbird won't prompt me for a password!

I have been using Thunderbird to access my Yahoo account for many years now. 6 days ago it stopped retrieving messages. No error messages just no mail. So I went to Yahoo and changed my password thinking Thunderbird would prompt me for the new password. Nothing. I then went into saved passwords and deleted my Yahoo password entry Still nothing. Please help!

Verify you do have the correct server settings for Yahoo.
