No add-on needed to do this. Select all messages in a folder you'd like
to mark as unread. Right click on one of them, select 'Mark', and
uncheck 'As Read'.

Thanks ALL! I know this might have been an unusual feature but I have 2
dozen folders of important messages and like to see just how many when I
open TB (Verison pmts, YouSendIt activity, etc). No particular reason,
just an old man's *druthers*. ;-)

Yes it would be IF there was that option. Submit it as a RFE bug.
