If an email contains an Internet link, Thunderbird is trying to use AOL
Explorer. Up until last week, it was using Firefox. Something appears
to have changed this, so how can I change this back?
Thanks,
George
Try Tools>>Options>>General
Click the Check Now button, to ensure that FF is set as your default
browser. Then open TB and click a link. Does it behave correctly now?

Tools>>Options
On the Options dialog, there is a series of tabs at the top. Select the
one called General. at the right, next to the check box for Firefox
should check......, there should be a button to cause Firefox to check
its default status. Clicking this will usually solve the problem.
I can't imagine that this does not exist in the Windows version.
There are times when Firefox will think it is default when it is not.
Our old fix was to open another browser, make it the default, then open
Firefox and make it the default. Kludgy, but it usually worked.
The more elegant fix is outlined on the excellent page cited by Ken.
Let me also specify that when I point you to Tools>>Options, I mean, of
course, Firefox's Tools>>Options.
