Hello,

I'm viewing email with long lines of text. It won't wrap to the window
width, even though I've set to TRUE the switch
Tools->Options->Display->Formatting->PlainTextMessages->WrapTextToFitWindowWidth.
Other switches set to TRUE are mail.wrap_long_lines and
view_source.wrap_long_lines in the panel
Tools->Options->Advanced->General->ConfigEditor. Not that
view_source.wrap_long_lines affects my problem, since I'm not viewing
source, but tried it just in case. In fact, even if I did view the
source for the email, it *still* doesn't wrap. Admittedly, this is a
separate problem, but it will have to be solved some time, so a
solution to wrapping to window width would be appreciated for viewing
both source and nonsource. Thanks for any suggestions on how to get
the wrapping to work.

save message as draft . open it again from Draft folder and check
whether it still gives same problem or not.

Also try Edit menu > Rewrap after finishing your reply.

Also make sure in preferences > Appearance > Fonts set to 96dpi.

Also Preferences > Mail & newsgroups > Composition that Wrap Plain text
messages is set at 72 dpi or no more than 80 dpi.

Yes, it does. I am viewing incoming email, not composed email, but I
copied it to the Drafts folder anyway. The problem of nonwrapping
persists.

Hi, Phillip,

This works fine if I forward or reply to the message being viewed (I
can perform a rewrap). But I am merely viewing it. There do not seem
to be a corresponding options.

Yes, it is checked. TB has been restarted many times since checking it.

I'm using Chrome. I can not get it to work. I have tried to use the "Edit" menu, of which I have found none, and the "Options" under "Tools," as suggested by another, of which I also, found none. I have saved as a draft and gone in from the drafts box. No avail.

You say you have tried the "Edit" Menu but what exactly did you do? In
Edit Menu, there is an item called Rewrap, have you tried it? If not
then try it. To do this, Open your message in the edit window and then
go to:

Edit >> Rewrap

After doing this, please post back so that we know what exactly has
happened.

Good luck.
