Fortunately I found gContactSync 3.0.0a5, and the update works

Does anyone now where I can get the latest beta version of gContactSync. I was using 3.0.0.0a8, but I can't find the beta again anywhere. Thanks! Bill

Hi Bill,

Go to: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/gcontactsync

Scroll down to the "Developers Chanel" and expand it.  You should find the latest beta version there.

Chris

That is where he found version 3.0.0a8 "Released Nov. 23, 2017". There
are no beta versions there, and the current release "Works with
Thunderbird 17.0 - 59.0".

Walt,

Thanks for your reply.  Actually, this is what I was looking for again.  I got it their awhile back, but I couldn't find that site again.

I referred to it as "beta" only because it is not the current GA release.  The website says "The Development Channel lets you test an experimental new version of this add-on before it's released to the general public."  I probably used in the term beta in error.

Thanks
Bill

Chris,

Thanks for the tip on going to the Development Channel.  That was what I was looking for.  I have since bookmarked the page so I can find it again in the future.
