Moving TB3 store folder

Just checking that I am doing this correctly in XP.
- I created a new profile with a new name
- I copied the Profile folder from C:\Documents and
Settings\Jeff\Application Data\Thunderbird to the new location.

Question:
In C:\Documents and Settings\Jeff\Application Data\Thunderbird there also
are:
- folder named "Crash Reports"
- profile.ini
- registry.dat
Do I move any of these to there?

These files are not part of any particular profile.

After creating the new profile and seeing that TB finds it fine can I
(should I) delete the "Default User" profile since I will never use it
again?

Is it the old profile?
In that case you can remove it completely or you can delete the profile
entry from profile manager without deleting its content and keep it as a
backup.
