Does Thunderbird have 'catch up' function similar to that in OE?

Thank you.

Drop that mouse!

Unix: Shift-C
Windows: Control-Shift-C

I just got a physical and asked the doctor, "How do I stand?" He said, "That's what puzzles me!"

You may like to try the addon "Mark all Read button". It does the
function of Control-Shift-C, but with an icon that can be put in the
tool bar with delete and next.

With this addon you do not need to put down your mouse.

I wish they would come up with something similar that would mark all
read and advance to the next unread newsgroup all in one click.
Something like old Netscape function.

Thanks! I've always wanted that function because it's true, often you have the mouse handy. But also often you're on the keyboard. It's good to know both and use whatever is appropriate.

Ah yes the "g" keystroke of Netscape in years gone by...

If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.

Thanks to Sjouke, Andrew and Keith. I have used the method you all
suggested. Was just wondering if its function had an alias called
'catch up.'

Thanks again.

There used to be a config setting which stopped/alowed TB to jump to
next unread group after finishing one. I know because I stopped it from
doing with this setting. Can't find it at the moment but someone here
knows.
Set that to your preference of advancing to the next group and then just
hit "t" on a thread you want to mark read - that will advance you to
next unread post then jump to next group...

I have it set to jump. However the old Netscape had a short cut that
would mark all messages read and move to the next unread newsgroup.
This was all one short cut.
