Hi my name is Ryan, I work for Telstra Australia under Broadband
solution division. My team is in charge of setting up , maintaining
and supporting Telstra Bigpond email service.
Currently we are migrating all our BigPond email server to Windows
Live server, as a result,the incoming pop3 and outgoing smtp server
for our customer's BigPond email account is changing from its original
mail.bigpond.com to
pop3.live.com and
smtp.live.com. However, we
recently discover that Thunderbird still defaults pop3 and smtp server
settings as the old
mail.bigpond.com while our customer setting up new
bigpond email account on Thunderbird. Consequently our customer who
use Thunderbird for their Telstra Bigpond account are experiencing
problems in sending/receive their emails.
We will very much appreciate if you can look into this issue for us or
is there a better place (email address, contact number) i can raise
this issue with Thunderbird? Thanks
