Firefox and IE are browsers only. They don't receive email, unless
you're talking about accessing your mail accounts via webmail. Yet,
you're posting in the Thunderbird newsgroup, which is an email
program, like Outlook Express.

Firefox is not an Email Client.
You may use 'Thunderbird' to receive mails from your POP or IMAP server.
