How can I submit the report details to mozilla since the reporter
fails?

Any ideas on how to tell what is causing the problem from the report
details?

where did you get that info?

Sounds like, up to a point, it /is/ working - a little more info might
be helpful.

There is no clickable link for the crash?

IF the report failed to submit, then this is an important fallback
solution, because there are rare situations in which crash reporter
either fails to capture a useful dump, or fails to submit the dump.
(but not rare of course for those that are seeing the problem)

windbg (for windows users) is not difficult to run.

But first, to answer the question that goodwin poses you will want to

FYI, this will sound stupid but report details section is a worthless
POS and not worth taking the time to copy and paste.

I can't tell if you are guiding /me/ to that link or the OP - I've been
there already.

My question was: How did the OP get the info he posted if the crash
reporter failed??
If it failed, I would suspect that info would not be on file - no?

Thats too bad - the Firefox reporter has some good info once you figure
it out, although most crashes I've seen discussed are cured by shutting
off some extension or 3rd party software, which most users around here
do almost by rote anyway.

For the OP

If the info is not "on file" at the crash server, then yes one can
assume the reporter failed in some way. And the information at the link
I provided helps the user determine their situation in that respect.

it does in the dump. but the details section (which people can find on
their PC) without the dump is, as I say, not useful to put it kindly.

sure, that's fine for the cases caused by add-ons.

Hi Mike, Goodwin and Wayne

I appreciate the information you have provided trying to assist with
this issue

Goodwin - That info came from the mozilla crash reporter dialog box
(it popped up after TB failed to open). I checked the "tell Mozilla"
rasio box then clicked on the 'details' button. CChecked the email me
radio box and input my email address when I submitted it it indicated
that there was a problem submitting the report - hence my statement
that it failed.

Wayne - I took you advice and ran the Windbg and looks like there's a
ton of goobledygook there (for lack of a better term) So what should I
do with it now

SOLVED

Deleted the index files in each mailbox. removed calander extension.
rebooted and reopened TB

One opened had TB rebuild the index by highlighting the mailbox folder

Once completed rebooted computer

Seems to be working fine (over 24 hours with a auto shutdown of system
and a cold boot this morning)

Having a bad index is consistent with crash reports that are unhelpful :(

And the reintroduction of calendar does not create instability, right?

Please also update your bug report and getstatisfaction article
