Hello all,
I want to ask about how can make the TBird in status bar when I finish
from it. Like Outlook you can keep it run but in status bar.

best regards,

Unfortunately you need to use an Add-on.

There are also programs that can give you that functionality for ANY
window. One such is "Minimize to Tray". Some of them are free, others
are shareware. I rarely use the feature, but I have it available for
those times when I need it.

That minimizes (by default) the the taskbar. The OP wants to minimize
to the systray. I'm pretty sure he knows which button to push just to
minimize a window.

The date and time was Tuesday, March 31, 2009 11:02:35 AM, and on a
whim, squaredancer pounded out on the keyboard:

Hi Reg,

But they did mention OL, which can be set to place an icon in the System
Tray/Notification Area.

The real point is, other than removing itself from the Taskbar, nothing
changes, which to me is NOT a feature.

The fact that he lacked clarity doesn't mean you should ignore common
sense. If you think he's never minimized a window in his life, well,
let's just say you have issues. You seem to be trying to be anal just
for the sake of being anal.

People merely assume Systray when this kind of post is made because it's
so obviously lacking in the program

..but it doesn't appear in the System Tray at all though does it so it
*is* a feature therefore.
