I have a "saved search" named "attachments" with a rule of "attachment
status is 'has attachments'".

I'd like to create sub saved searches under "attachments" that have that
rule and then match a certain attachment type.

What would be the best way to do this? I tried adding a custom header
"content-type" to search if it contains the mime type I want (image/jpeg
for example), but I never get any results for the search. I have
mail.server.default.mime_parts_on_demand set to false even, so all
attachments are downloaded in full automatically.

Does Thunderbird only search the initial set of headers in the source of
the message and not any of the headers in any of the other parts of the
message?

The Expression Search / GMailUI add-on has an attachment name/type
option for Quick Filter Bar searches, and adds Attachment name/type to
the criteria list in the Search Messages window (Edit/Find/Search
Messages, or the folder context menu, or Ctrl-Shift-F).

Yep. "attachment name/type" shows up in the saved search rule list and
searching by mime type does the trick. Thanks.
