3.1: Reply to list -button missing

I can get it to main tool bar, but not into the message header pane,
where is Reply and Forward -buttons.

I tried Customize, but it does not help. Is it lost forever, or did some
add-on remove it?

Right click on the icon area in the message header pane to add/remove
icons from the pane. There are a couple of icons there, one of which is
a reply button with a dropdown list which I think is what you are
looking for.

Yes, I see it... but somehow it is not movable to the message pane.
Actually, I move the already existing Reply button now away from the
message pane to see if the another one could replace it... but no joy! I
could not move the original Reply back to the message pane: now no Reply
button whatsoever!

Pressing "Restore Default Set" brought the Reply back, but not the one I
wanted, of course.

Strange.

I had the exact same problem. Only reply button, no drop-down list, as
if the other reply's are already there, but not visible. Removing the
existing reply button, saving, then opening and adding back buttons
solved it - I have options for either the buttons separately, or a
reply all/reply drop-down list. No full list of all reply options.
