Roaming profile in FF portable???

great. I have all my extensions and the theme I like. Perfect for at
work since they use IE. Anyways, my work has some surf controls and
it wouldn't let me update forecast fox. So, I decided to take it home
and let it update there. So, I plugged in my thumbdrive at home,
updated forecast fox and then closed it. Mind you, all my extensions
and everything were present when I fired it up at home. So, I get
into work this morning, fire up FF and now my UI is back to the
original theme and none of my extensions are showing up. I went to
Tools -> Addons and it shows that they are active, but they are not
showing up!! Anyone have any clues? I know enough about computers
and stuff to be dangerous so my guess is something with a roaming
profile between work and home? It's kind of annoying. Any help would
be greatly appreciated.

Unlike with the regular FF, with the Portable version, all
your extensions, etc, are stored in the same area as the
program. Thats why you can take everything from one computer
to the other.
With that said, I have no idea. Perhaps when the extensions
got install, it went into the regular area of the FF
profile, and not in the profile for the Portable version. I
would say, save the extensions to your thumb drive, and
install them from there.
