I wouldn't say they don't do anything.
Notice how spams appear for a few days and then totally stop. This
indicates that there is some filtering going on (at a minimum) or that
other steps have been taken against the offenders.

If 'nothing' was done, the spammers wouldn't stop, the group would
simply be full of fake watches, or religious posts, or whatever other
spam there is.

I don't know if this one even qualifies as 'spam' per se.
Certainly unwanted, and not what the group is intended for, but I really
don't see that much of a commercial aspect to it at all. The person just
wants more people to utilize the fantasy baseball league.

Unless the post (or similar) appears in multiple groups, or is repeated,
then I don't really think this is something for abuse anyway. If it was
just this one (only one I have seen) I would be tempted to simply ignore
it and allow Josh to learn that it is not appreciatted (at least in this
group)

Thanks for that, Dan. I might have been a bit quick of the mark, but I
checked this group first today, saw this and expected to see it repeated
in all the other moz groups I frequent, but nothing there.
