Outgoing message formatting for XMPP chat rooms

Hello. I use a chat room whose owner is requesting me to send a
particular background color with all messages I type in the room. I
found a dialog box in InstantBird to control the formatting of incoming
messages. How do I control the formatting of outgoing messages in XMPP
group chat rooms?
