problem with instantbird :(

Hey there,

First I just want to say I love instantbird! I don’t want to stop using it, but I encountered a huge problem yesterday. I signed out and signed back in, and my contacts aren’t showing up in the list. My account for facebook chat is connected, but I can’t see who’s online. I can see who’s offline though, which is very strange. Every once in a while, it will show one person online, then disappear. I know there’s multiple people online. I’ve restarted the computer, and reinstalled the program several times. Do you have any suggestions on why my contact list isn’t showing up?

Thanks for the kind words about Instantbird. It seems that Facebook is
having server issues right now: there have been reports of Facebook chat
not working well across various platforms and clients right now. (I.e.
this is not an Instantbird problem, but a Facebook problem. There isn't
anything we can do about it.) Hopefully they get this cleared up soon.

Facebook has informed us that everything should be working normally
again (and it seems to be for me). Hopefully you won't have any more
issues!
