Instantbird Bug or Not?

Instantbird Support: First, I love Instantbird and have been a user for
years.
In the last week or so, Facebook messaging has ceased working in
Instantbird (on my Windows 7 based laptop) and get the following message:
I read FAQs and then changed FB password and deleted/re-added Facebook
account but message continues. Strange as Facebook to Instantbird
messaging had been working in the past for some time.
Wanted to see if this is development change for Instantbird (before I take
any time setting up Bugzilla account, just to report this issue). Thanks
for any advice.....
Note: Other messaging services (AIM/Yahoo/Google continue to work as
expected...)

i related by email one or two possible bug reports about this ... !
In the fact is very unpleasant cannot connect with facebook account :-(
Will be facebook like Microsoft MSN blocking all 3rd party messeger
software ?

Unfortunately Facebook disabled the mechanism we were using to connect
to them. Check out
http://blog.instantbird.org/2016/01/facebook-chat-issues/ for more
information. It seems they did this slowly for different users and we
(many of the developers) did not see an issue until recently.
We're working to fix the issue, but it requires writing a new protocol
from scratch and we work on Instantbird in our spare time...so it's
taking longer than we wanted.
