:-P

Hmm, well, I don't use QuickTime. I don't think it's available on Linux,
anyway. :-P

you can always get the Alternative Quicktime:
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/QuickTime_Alternative.htm. A
great little program. From there, you can also get the Media Player
Classic and Real [Player] Alternative. Again, a couple of great
little programs.

Just to reiterate the purpose of this newsgroup:
User support discussion regarding any Mozilla product that does not have
its own newsgroup.
Or as stated in <http://www.mozilla.org/community/newsgroups.txt>:
"All other products".

So it you were worried about multi-posting, don't worry. :-)

Patched version is 7.0.4

Since QT is widely used as a plugin for Moz products I felt this was the

I use QuickTime, but on a Mac it comes standard anyway, so its
essentially different. This one is only for OS X 10.3.9 (or later)
anyway, not applicable on this machine.

Personally tho, I think Brian chose the right group, it is a general
interest item

Getting used to no split OS groups might take a while

QuickTime and the QuickTime plugins are not Mozilla products, but since
the QuickTime plugin is used by multiple Mozilla products, it is useful
to warn people about a problem and fixed update to it. :-)

I know. What I'm saying is that it would have been okay to multi-post

I have a few new products that I receive email from.
One is a Cisco ACS appliance and the other is a eFax.
Both send emails constantly but are dated 12/31/1969.
I opened the headers and the correct date is in the header.
Anyone know why these specific emails would display a different
date and time stamp in my email in box other than whats in the
header of the email. Here is an example of a good header.

Amazingly Simple Home Remedies . . .

If you are choking on an ice cube, don't panic! Simply pour a cup of
boiling water down your throat and presto! The blockage will be almost
instantly removed.

gw, did you notice both the From: and To: are from Sean and Sean is
asking about the problem, so I think he has let him know what's going on!

Uh Sean is giving us an example. Both problems sound like a wrong date
at either the other end or the mail server.
