Some sites stream, other don't.
I'm using Win xp sp2 and still have WMP 9 installed along with the new
flash player.

Shockwave Flash: NPSWF32.dll
- Shockwave Flash 8.0 r22
Do you have any extensions installed? (adblock is usually a culprit for
these instances)

I don't know if Flashblock still leaves userContent.css script in place,
so you can try going to your profile folder[1], and in the \chrome\
folder, remove the userContent.css file. (if you've added anything to it
manually, you can keep those scripts.
Try it in safe mode. [Start -> All Programs -> Mozilla Firefox ->
Mozilla Firefox(Safe Mode)]

I'm having a bit of a problem trying to uninstall Apple QuickTime Player
6 from my computer and installing the update of version 7. First of
all, I can't get the uninstaller to run properly to unstall version 6 as
it keeps on giving me errors. I've tried to uninstall it manually, but
I still keep getting errors. Has anyone got any solutions to the
problem? I would prefer to not have this on my computer at all but
there are alot of websites that force you to install it just so that you
can view their website correctly.

reinstall version 6, then uninstall it. If you really don't want QT,
then try QuickTime Alternative:
