I have the "Remember passwords for sites" checked under
Tools/Options/Security.
There are some sites that will not open the "remember data", or whatever
it says, dropdown bar at the top of the screen, so those passwords are
not saved. In some cases my username is automatically entered, but not
the password.

Is there a way to manually enter the site's username and password in
Password Manager?

I am the only one that uses this computer, so I don't need a Master
Password. The way I remember usernames and passwords now is a
spreadsheet file printed out and tacked on the wall by my computer, so
anyone getting into my computer has access to all my usernames and
passwords anyway.

There are different solutions to this problem. Check two of them

http://lifehacker.com/software/passwords/make-firefox-remember-any-password-179334.php

http://txpress.blogspot.com/2007/11/save-yahoo-hotmail-password-in-firefox.html

But be aware that this trick does not always work, and that many sites
defeat it.

Regards

Thanks. Yes, many sites defeat it.

Thanks. That works better than the previous mentioned fixes.
It remembered both user name and password for all my bill paying sites.
On one site it remembered my password, but the user name field was
blank. :-)
