Must use Chrome to access Via benefits account

Strange but FF will not do it. I have to use Chrome. Wonder what
prevents FF from doing it?

Not sure but it was Via benefits on the phone that asked what browser I
was using and when I said FF they told me to use Chrome.

What do you mean by 'Via'? If you mean the organisation below, the
basic website works for me on Win10 with Ffox v72.0.2... but obviously
I cannot log into account details...

Yes that is the site and FF will not allow me to login but Chrome does.
Cannot recall the last time I went there but my wife wanted some payout
info. After I finally got in, it was not spelled out. Not a huge
problem but I wondered why they told me to use Chrome.

I use viabenefits regularly with the latest FF 64 and Windows 10.
Probably one of your add-ons is blocking you. Try safe mode.

Tried safe mode and that does not work. Does not ask for pw and behaves
like before asking my name and SS number Then I went to Chrome and pw
came up but nothing happens. PITA. I suspect I may need to restart
windows to get it to work. As mentioned, I rarely go there and wife
handles banking and benefits. She plans to phone them and get info by
mail which she prefers.

Latest Fx 64? Firefox is up to version 72.0.2 now.

That does take me there and ask for user name then password but just
hangs like when I did in Chrome this am.

I just logged in using Firefox 72.0.2 with no significant addons except
RoboForm. When I start the login process, the first screen asks me for
my email address. the next one asks for bot the email address and
password. Next, because of 2 factor authentication, I have to get a
text message with the appropriate code. I have been using Via Benefits
since they were some other name a few years back. I have never had a
login problem with their site.
I do have all kinds of problems in getting ANY issue resolved by
contacting them. They don't nearly have enough people to properly
service their clients. Up to 2+ weeks to respond to a 'Contact us'
email and then the response has ALWAYS been call us at this number. No
matter which number they give me or which number I call, I have never
been on hold for less that 20 minutes to get a human. Once I do get to
a human, the problem gets resolved in minutes. They are very good that
way, IF you can reach a human being.

Just tried it again with FF and Chrome and both just hang there without
doing anything after I enter my pw. I could probably go through the
crap again and have them call me. I have a cell for text but that is
iffy in my house.

Via is a real PTA to deal with and my wife has to fight with them every
year about this time. Her current problem now is that we have automatic
withdrawal and deposit in our checking account and they used to tell her
what the transaction involved but now she gets an email saying a
transaction occurred but they do not say what it was. You are lucky to
get a human to work there because when my wife contacts them she must
get a defective one that does not work.
