I'm in the process of installing Firefox 7 on a new computer running
Windows 7 Home Premium. When I try to open Firefox 7 I get the
following message: "Firefox is already running, but is not responding.
To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process,
or restart your system." I've been running Firefox 7 successfully on 2
other computers running Windows 7 Enterprise. What do I have to do to
fix the problem? Thanks. Dale

Thanks for the prompt response. I was getting ready to fix the profile
file when I realized I had uninstalled Firefox. When re-installing
Firefox 7 I elected to check the use Firefox as my default browser. When
installation was complete I elected to open Firefox. This time it opened
fine! On previous installations I had not check the use Firefox as my
default browser. I appreciate your quick help, but fortunately I
stumbled into a quick fix even if it seems a bit quirky. Dale
