And yes, I can do the export myself as I have, but is not as automatic
as it used to be.
One thing lead to another and so on. I read a reply to another thread
and in the short, they pointed to about:config and a setting to
automatically backup the bookmarks to the old bookmarks.html file like
version 2.0 would make.
This solves my problem, a simple edit of the config and life is good.
It appears this "improvement" in Bookmarks isn't that at all to many who
have reported here. I also felt the HTML storage was sufficient. But
users don't know what's good for them, so the devs have to spoon feed us.
