Hi,
Is there a possibility to download files via dragging a link from
firefox and dropping it into any (windows)folder.
Standard behavior for this action is to create an internet-shortcut to
the file.
But instead of this I want to download the file (that the link referes
to) to that folder.
(similar to the behavior when dragging a picture from ff and dropping
it into a folder)
1.) is this possible with firefox / an addon? or is this rather a
problem of the windows explorer drop functionality?
2.) how can this be done?
Thanks in advance!

The drag action is the responsability of Firefox, the drop action the
one of windows explorer. SO the question is how the windows explorer
could be changed to handle the drop of a url as downloading the url
(with firefox)
