BCLTMP

In my Win7 AppData/Local/Temp folder I noticed the folder "BCLTMP",
under which is a "firefox" subfolder, under which are nine subfolders
with almost no data in them. Most seem to relate to installed extensions
(classicthemerestorer@arist2noia4dev), others don't seem to ring a bell
(aush...@mozilla.org).

Does BCLTMP do anything on an ongoing basis, or is it just the remnant
of a past event?

Strange. In my Win 10 AppData/Local/Temp folder I find this "BCLTMP"
folder (last modified two days ago) with only one empty "edge" subfolder
(last modified four days ago) in it without ever having made use of Edge
in the very near past.

Well that's something I hadn't expected. I see this folder from time to
time, and the subfolders relate to Firefox only, despite having two
other browsers with Mozilla DNA on this computer.

Hardly a big deal, just a little mysterious.

There are some Windows 10 applets that call Edge as soon as you click
their icon and magically BCLTMP shows up. Not big deal. Just close Edge
and that's all.
I hate Windows! :)

I too run Win7, which doesn't have Win10 applets nor Edge.
Even so the BCLTMP folder shows up, but it is empty.

I really hate W10. What I love are all the programs I can run on Windows
but unfortunately don't run on Linux. Call it masochism if you wish.
