The login options on both of these links worked fine for me. On the
first link I got an overlay login window (upper center) when I click
on the upper-right "log in" button. On the second I automatically
got the overlay. If I cleared it and then clicked on the "log in"
button on the left I got the overlay again.

I got cookies from at least 7 *.go.com hosts. When I rejected them
all, the upper-right button was inactive. The second link's
left-side "log in" button did still give me the overlay login screen.

So, I suspect that you may be rejecting one or more of the cookies
presented.

I'm accepting all go.com 1st party cookies. On a wild ass hunch, I
deleted all my *.go.com cookies and now it works for both Football and
Baseball.
