I am an administrator at my workplace and we have been using Mozilla as
our browser/e-mail client and we are in the process of pushing out
Firefox and Thunderbird to replace the older Mozilla.

I would like to be able to set the default browser to Firefox using
changes to the registry because our users do not have permission to
change their default browser on our domain.

This "seems" like it would be a well documented thing to do but so far I
have been unable to turn up what registry entries need to be changed in
order to make this browser change.

Is there a tool...script...or reg file that we can use to make this
change on a domain?

Thank you for any help you can be.

Thank you. I've been looking at that today to see if I can get some help
from there. So far...there are still things that just don't get set
correctly.

Thank you but the problem is that on our network domain at work the
ability to change default browser is disabled for 'regular' users. Only
admins can make the change.

That's why I'm looking for the registry entries that need changing to
make that happen.
