I'm running FFQx64 62.0.2 on Win7x64 with no problems.

I have Kindle for PC installed running with no problems.

I'm trying to install Kindle for PC on my Win8.1 Asus laptop
that has FFQx64 64.0 installed.

When I attempt to register Kindle for PC, I keep getting the
message/dialog "Please enable cookies to continue"

I have the radio button selected for "Accept Cookies and site data."

This does not seem to meet the needs of KPC, and the Amazon KPC
supervisor has spent a lot of time trying to help with no success.

I tried uninstalling FFQx64 64.0 and installing 62.0.2, which is
working with my Win7.1x64 KPC install perfectly.

I copied my whole Moz/FF profile from my Win7.1x64 to my Win8.1
Asus laptop, and deselected all FFQ upgrade options.

However, when I restarted my Win8.1 FFQx64 62.0.2 it auto
upgraded to 64.0 !! ??

Kindle for PC still won't register: "Please enable cookies..."

Any help with this "cookie monster" of a problem?

Suggestion Goto:
Tools/Options/ Privacy & Security and uncheck Trackers.

FF 64 is a beast and 65 will be even worse, time to switch browser.

I should also have mentioned the I tried deleting all of the Amazon
related cookies, revisited Amazon, which still recognized me without
having to log in.

Deleting those cookies did not help.

EDG, thanks for the suggestion: I already had Trackers unchecked.

I've started some study of non-FF and non-Chrome browsers...
....we'll see

So, the "cookie monster" is really a "beast," huh?

The only cookie related item I have selected is "Accept cookies..."

This was resolved with the helpful assistance of a 3rd Amazon tech.
The solution was to "setup" Internet Explorer (on this Win8.1 sys),
which was "apparently" installed, but I never accessed it.

Completing the IE cookies setup satisfied the Kindle for PC
registration, and I still maintained my FFQx64 as my default
browser.

HTHs some other lost soul ;)
