So I get some jpgs
So I lick download
so I get the download box whic says Launch Application at the top
and I see "this link need to be opened with an application"
WTF??
In FF2 it opened automatically. It IS a JPG - not a new or unique file
type..
Can I get the old download window style back??
Is there some way to make this thing work easily.
This "improvement" sucks.

It could be a badly configured webserver: it probably sends the wrong
MIME-type back to FF, e.g. "application/octet-stream" instead of
"image/jpeg". I've seen it happen occasionally too.

Could you give us the URL of the page where the problem occurs?

No I didn't.
Do not understand why I have to. It worked fine in FF2.
Is there an extension or add-on to simplify this?

Again, these are .jpg files.
Came in an email which I loaded via FF3 from Yahoo mail, which IE says
came from Paint Shop Pro. That may be the problem.

Hey mate, to change the subject for a moment I think you should check your
system clock. All your recent posts are dated 30 Oct 2008...unless you
are sending your posts into the past :)) At this rate if your clock is
set over a week into the future it means your posts are constantly going
to the top and that's cheating :)

Was supposed to be June 30th and he's corrected it a long time ago.
