Hello.

I set FireFox to open PDF files with an application (that's Okular on my
computer, Adobe Reader on my customers'), instead of saving them.
It simply works... for a while.

Periodically this setting will revert to "Save File".
Is there a way to avoid this?

bye & Thanks
av.

I have my Firefox set to "Preview in Firefox" which opens the PDF files
in a new tab using its built-in PDF viewer.

I don't recall it ever changing back to "Save File". Maybe "Always Ask".

I figure it is PDF file Firefox can't open and a script from the site
changes the setting.

Sorry, I can't be more help.

Thanks, but no thanks.
Unfortunately there are cases when an external applicaion is needed.

I'd be very suprised if visiting a site could change my browser's settings!
