With the latest updates, I have noticed my FF doesn’t start with the
homepage but latest opened tabs. First I thought some add- ons were
responsible (Norton toolbar etc.) and disabled it but nothing changed.
Trying to change setting with the Tool-Options-General doesn’t have any
effect. I’m open for any suggestions. Happy New Year. Alex

I have tried to make different settings with Use Current Page, Use
Bookmark and Restore to Default but it's not changing anything.

What do you have set for the "When Firefox starts:" setting?

The options are "Show my home page", "Show a blank page" and "Show my
windows and tabs from last time".

Currently it's set to "Show my home page" but still displays last opened
tab.

So, the only extension you disabled was Norton Toolbar? Did you try Help

So for Startup you have "Show my home page", with an *address* in the
Home Page field, and it opens to the last opened tab after each restart.

Same if you select "Restore to Default", which should open about:home.

How many extensions do you have? You might want to make a list, and then
try Help > Troubleshooting Information, and click on the "Reset Firefox"
button. You will have to reinstall all your themes, and extensions, but
not the plugins, bookmarks, passwords, etc.

When I open FireFox my tabs don't load in. It's just a white screen with the website. I tried to fix the problem but there is nothing I can do.

Are you referring to having multiple web pages as your home page? If you
hit refresh (either click on the reload icon or press F5), does the
content of the page then load?

Have you tried the steps at

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-
problems

Short link: http://mzl.la/16zLrEU

If you tried those things (particularly steps involving disabling
extensions, at least temporarily, and restarting Firefox to see if the
problem persists; trying Firefox in Safe Mode; and creating and using a
new profile, at least for testing purposes) and they didn't work, it
would help to know:

1. What version of Firefox are you running?

2. What platform (Windows?, Mac?, Unix?, Android? And what version? E.
g., Windows 7 64-bit)

3. In testing, what worked, what didn't?

4. Is this a new Firefox install and you are experiencing the problem
immediately after install? Or was Firefox working fine for a long time
and only recently started experiencing this problem?
