Any way to recover text typed in text box previously?

Sometimes I am typing a long response in a text box and then (a)
accidentally click the Backspace button (b) Click Enter but the website
returns some kind of error that drops me back.

In such cases even if I hit the back button I cannot recover the block of
text I had typed. On the otherhand FF is definately "text box aware" since
while I am on a page if I make changes I can always revert by using "Right
click + undo".

Is there a way to access this "typed on previous page's text box" buffer
somehow? That seems very useful. Maybe a add-on that will achieve this?

Any tips?

Great! Lazarus does exactly what I had in mind.

It always amazes me that for whatever obscure problem I may come up with
someone's already written a add-on!

Thanks!
