firefox not using cache?

Hello,
I don't know why firefox don't use cache since some time. My cache is
setted to 150 MB. If I try about:cache firefox doesn't show anything. I
am using ff 2.0.0.14. Thanks in advance for any help.

Some websites disable the use of the browser cache.

Also, SSL-encrypted pages are not cached by default in FX.

Firefox is set to clear private data by closing. But cache is unchecked.
And about:cache shows nothing. Not even the path to the cache
directory in the profile.

not even "memory cache device" ?

check what browser.cache.memory.enable is set to in about:config
