Thunderbird and ftp links

I have installed Fx 4.0, today whe i make a click to open in the browser
a ftp link(ftp of mozilla), Internet explorer open instead of fx or a
new tab in fx.
I change to true the entry and aopen dialog show, i choose firefox but
allways open internet explorer instead.

network.protocol-handler.warn-external.ftp

If I understand correctly, you want FTP links from other programs (e.g.
Thunderbird) to open in Firefox. That is a Windows setting you need to
change via the Windows Control Panel.

With Fx 3.6.x the ftp link are opened in firefox by default.
I change to Fx4.0(making it the default browser) and made a click a ftp
link and open ie instead.

In the dialog open with of thunderbird was listed Firefox and chose it,
ie open insteand of firefox.

I delete mimetype.rdf and go accross the same, instead of choosing
firefox listed i specified the full path to fx4.0 and now the ftp links
open fine.
