Download Helper no longer works

It worked okay up to November 6.

I'm using version 4.9.11 with FF 16.0.2. The problem may have started
when I "upgraded" to FF 16.0.2. 16.0.2 was released October 26, but I
don't always install the latest version when I'm aware of it.

Is a extension problem, you have to upgrade if available

Version 4.9.11 is the latest version. I tried removing it (not merely
disabling and re-enabling), then reinstalling a freshly downloaded v
4.9.11 again.
