Hi,

first message on yours mailing lists and please excuse if it is not the
right place to explain my problem. I made searches on these list without
success:

- mozilla.support.firefox
- mozilla.dev.embedding
- mozilla.evangelism
- mozilla.dev.tech.plugins

The fact is that when using wmode=transparent in the html declaration,
some characters are replaced, '@' turns into 'à' for exemple or
russian's inputs fail.

I also searched on bugzilla and notice theses two reports :
- https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=347185
but status are unconfirmed and nobodys seems to take it in charge, as
far as i'm not a core developper, i cannot take it my self but would
be glad to help if possible.

I reached macromedia's support but they reject the fault on macromedia
and microsoft (microsoft is bugging with russian's inputs).

So if someone has any suggestions (simple or heavy), please answer me
on that thread. Feel free to ask more details.

Thanks,

Adrien Leygues,

Probably, most of the people in mozilla.support.firefox haven't heard of
wmode=transparent.

Try mozilla.dev.web-development
