Hi All,

Can anyone point me to the directions on how to
run Firefox off a USB flash drive? The idea is that
I could plug my stick into anyone's computer and fire up
Firefox with my bookmarks and all intact.

Many thanks,
-T

On 10/3/07 5:13 PM, _Todd and Margo Chester_ spoke thusly:

You need a special version for that. It's called "Mozilla Firefox,
Portable Edition", and can be found at

I guess there is more than one way, but take a look at

Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition | PortableApps.com - Portable software for USB drives
Mozilla Firefox web browser bundled with a PortableApps.com Launcher as a portable app,
so you can take your bookmarks, extensions and saved passwords with you
http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable

I have to update my page but you may find additional useful information
