enable middle click to open links in new tabs

Hi gang.
This is probably an easy one for you guys.

I have been using Seamonkey, and before that, Mozilla Suite, for many
years now, and still do.

But my better half has only just started using FF since that huge
security hole was discovered in IE. (Like it never had any before! lol)

Anyway, what I would like to know is how to enable middle click in FF to
open links in new tabs, as can be done in SM.

I guess it has something to do with about:config, but I don't know what
to change.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Oops, sorry, forgot to give some details.

OS: Vista Home Premium.
FF: 3.0.1
Add Ons:
Can't remember what it's called,
but it lets you zoom images.

PS.
The middle click to open new tabs works in FF on our XP box.
And I found:
browser.tabs.opentabfor.middleclick
Status default
Type boolean
Value true

But I can't look on her laptop at the moment.
